Digimelter–Danieli digital melting unit–powered by Q-One power feeder, working at multiple frequencies and with energy from renewable sources, is the new benchmark in electric steelmaking. Thanks to the Q-Melt intelligent controller and continuous scrap/DRI charging, Digimelter runs melting processes automatically, in a stable and adaptive way, with minimal impact on the electric network. Proper scrap preparation and cleaning available through the Danieli Scrap-to-Melt system ensures further improvement in productivity and transformation costs.
